STEEL
Over four decades ago, the shed industry faced a growing need for a structural solution that exceeded the limitations of traditional wood framing. This demand led to the innovation of Accu-Steel® framing—a system that has since become the trusted choice of hundreds of thousands of homeowners and businesses nationwide.
Accu-Steel frames are precision-engineered from heavy-duty 18-gauge G-90 galvanized steel, delivering exceptional strength, durability, and long-term performance.
Advantages of Accu-Steel Framing
-
Structural Stability: Will not warp, split, crack, or creak over time.
-
Superior Strength-to-Weight Ratio: One of the strongest building materials available relative to its weight.
-
Enhanced Wind Resistance: Provides greater protection against high-wind conditions.
-
Reinforced Connections: Constructed using screwed fasteners rather than nails for superior holding power.
-
Environmentally Responsible: Manufactured from 100% recyclable steel, significantly reducing landfill impact.
-
Efficient Manufacturing: Produces approximately 2% material waste, compared to up to 20% waste in wood framing.
-
Moisture Resistant: Naturally resists moisture, eliminating concerns of rot, mold, and decay.
Choosing Accu-Steel framing means investing in a structurally superior, environmentally responsible solution designed to perform for decades.

Flooring
Our manufacturing facility employs a precision-engineered floor system designed to exceed industry performance standards.
Skid Fabrication
All buildings are constructed using 4" x 6" pressure-treated skids, fabricated to exact measurements through a controlled cutting and trimming process to ensure consistency and accuracy.
For projects requiring custom skid lengths, skids are professionally mortised and spliced. Each splice is reinforced using six (6) 4-inch galvanized through-bolts, creating a structurally secure connection that maintains load-bearing integrity across the full skid length.
Floor Frame Assembly
-
All floor framing components are mechanically fastened using lag bolts and no nails for maximum structural security.
-
Skid ends are double-bolted at a 45-degree angle, increasing holding power and resistance to shear forces. Additional fastening configurations are available when site conditions require enhanced anchoring performance.
Subfloor Installation
-
Floors are decked with 23/32" exterior-grade plywood.
-
Panels are installed on a 16" on-center layout, providing a verified floor load capacity of 140 pounds per square foot (PSF).
-
This installation method ensures superior rigidity, long-term durability, and structural stability.
